Resident doctors conduct daily ward rounds (except on holidays) to ensure patients receive prompt and effective symptom management and high-quality medical supervision.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0097d6;\">Comprehensive Medical Facilities<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][martanian_oak_house_shortcode_images_single_image image=&#8221;5479&#8243;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Centre could provide a range of specialized medical services to meet treatment needs of patients, including IV drips and injections (e.g., antibiotics), drainage of ascites, high-flow oxygen therapy, sputum suction, rehabilitation therapy, and care for colostomies and tracheostomies.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0097d6;\">Integrated Psycho-Social-Spiritual Care<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][martanian_oak_house_shortcode_images_single_image image=&#8221;5481&#8243;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our resident chaplains and social workers provide personalized support to address the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our patients and their families through pastoral care, casework, communal activities, grief counseling, bereavement support, and volunteer services.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;40px&#8221;][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Eligibility Requirements&#8221; google_fonts=&#8221;font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal&#8221;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants must be referred by a medical social worker from the collaborating hospitals or evaluated by our centre&#8217;s social worker, while meeting all the following conditions:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Diagnosed with end-stage cancer or organ failure, with a life expectancy of 6 months or less.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Agreement among the patient, family, and medical team not to pursue cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Passed the household financial assessment:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The household financial assessment is primarily based on the income and assets of the applicant and all family members living together.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If the combined total of the \u201cassets\u201d and \u201cincome in the past 6 months\u201d of the applicant and all family members living together does not exceed the \u201cHousehold Financial Affordability Limit,\u201d the applicant is eligible for admission.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When determining the funding amount, the socio-economic background of the applicant and their immediate family members will also be taken into consideration (information provided by the applicant on a voluntary basis).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The &#8220;Household Financial Affordability Limit&#8221; is used to assess an applicant\u2019s affordability through the sum of the following two components. While it is a measure of the applicant\u2019s affordability, it does not necessarily reflect the total financial resources available to the applicant. For more details, please contact the social worker.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1. Household Assets Limit (including cash, savings deposits, investments, non-owner-occupied properties, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0097d6;\">No. of household:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0097d6;\">3 family members or below ( Household assets up to limit HK$600,000)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0097d6;\">4 family members or below (Household assets up to limit HK$900,000)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2.
