While it is a measure of the applicant\u2019s affordability, it does not necessarily reflect the total financial resources available to the applicant. The patient\u2019s financial status will be assessed by the social worker of our centre.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This programme specifically covers the expenses of palliative care services for terminally ill patients (cancer or organ failure). Any additional medical procedures or nursing services beyond the scope of palliative care should be arranged and paid by the resident.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The charges for this programme consist of two parts: the \u2018Basic accommodation fee\u2019 and \u2018Other charges\u2019.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2018Basic Accommodation Fee\u2019: This includes medical rounds, nursing care, personal care and all medications (except expensive drugs like target therapy). It is also covers adjuvant and alternative treatments, subject to a payment limit determined by the doctor\u2019s assessment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2018Other Charges\u2019: Residents are required to pay these charges based on a percentage of co-payment\u2019 or make full self-payment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The maximum duration of accommodation under this programme is generally six months.
