Palliative care is far more than medical arrangements made in a person’s final days; it is a profoundly meaningful journey of companionship. Through this lens, caregivers, family members, and healthcare professionals can approach the final chapter of life with greater confidence and compassion.

Seminar will cover:

Understanding Rehabilitative Palliative Care

Speaker: Mr. Felix Yau

Rehabilitation might seem to be unrelated to end-of-life patients, but indeed, rehabilitative therapy is increasingly recognized as a vital part of palliative care. This talk shares how rehabilitation services can enhance the quality of life for patients receiving palliative care, helping to relieve symptoms and preserve dignity.

Seminar will cover:

  1. Challenging Misconceptions about Rehabilitation and Palliative Care

More patients have expressed the wish to spend their final days and even die at home, and services supporting home death have flourished in response. This talk invites us to return to the heart of caregiving—through sharing real-life experiences in home-based palliative care, we’ll reflect on the genuine needs of patients and their families.
